Use the remote for the room you are in
Every unit has its own remote and only answers to that one. Point it at the unit.
Pick the mode
Cool for the summer, heat for the cooler months, fan if you only want air moving.
Set 22–24 °C in summer
That is comfortable, quiet and much kinder to the unit than driving it down to 18 °C — which cools the room no faster.
Close the windows and the balcony door
An open room never gets cold, and the unit runs flat out trying.
Use the timer overnight
A couple of hours is usually enough to fall asleep in a cool room.
Switch it off when you go out
Please turn off every unit you have running before you leave the apartment.
If a unit does not respond
The unit ignores the remote
Check the remote batteries first — flat batteries are the usual answer.
It will not restart straight away
After you switch a unit off — or after a power cut — it pauses before it will start again. Give it about 15 minutes, then try once more.
It runs but the room stays warm
Check the mode is cool and the set temperature is below the room temperature, close the windows, and give it about 15 minutes before you decide it is not working.
Still nothing
Message us with the room you are in and we will take it from there.
Still too warm?
Message us with the room and what the remote is showing. We answer within 1 hour during waking hours (09:00–22:00).
